Dr. Zedoun Alzoubi is a professional researcher and facilitator, with an extensive experience in governance and peacebuilding. He helped in establishing several Syrian NGOs and civil society initiatives. But his responsibilities go further than that: at various levels he is engaged with civil society issues in Syria and beyond, he invests in local governance, health governance, networking, youth engagement, humanitarian support mechanisms, conflict resolution and mediation. A part of his engagement he took the responsibility to lead research in the fields of civil society, constitutional process, and governance. He is currently facilitating the Women Advisory Board to the Special Envoy to Syria.
Dr. Zedoun Alzoubi holds a PhD Degree in Management received from the Arab Academy for Finance and Banking Sciences.
Obidah AlSAYED ALI
Specialist Consultant in Development
Obidah ALSAYED ALI is a specialist consultant in Program Management in development more than 10 years’ experience with multiple INGOs and NGOs in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Turkey. He holds a MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a diploma in Hospital Management from Canada Global Centre. With an extensive experience in civil society networking, marginalized groups engagement, conflict resolution and mediation. He is a professional facilitator, practitioner, and trainer.
He held the position of Operations/Region Director in multiple NGOs, having the responsibility for managing all organization programs to ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders . Before that, he held the position CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for one of the biggest hospitals in Syria during the conflict. Obidah is now PM4NGOs Syria Hub and representative, also supports Turkey and MENA Region.
